Recently, I was commisioned by Gavin Osborn to write a piece for bass flute and video. I ended up using UNREAL game engine to create an interactive, live video with digital sound for my piece, Underfoot.
Underfoot is currently on tour around the UK, with performances in Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The performer and composers gratefully acknowledge the assistance of the RVW Trust in supporting this project.
In the forest grows and withers
A multitude of living things
Underfoot lie ancient beings
They decay
And yet new life takes shape
