Blue Lungs: Sounds and Sea Air

'Stand on the cliff and breathe. Can you feel the great swathe of sea air, the salt, the sky, the horizon, move within the space behind you ribs?'

Blue Lungs was inspired by a moment at Ouaisne Common in Jersey, where my parents live. Standing on the edge of the cliff looking out at endless ocean, breathing in the fresh sea air, I was inspired. This piece is about breath, life, and my life-long relationship with the sea.
